Capstone Icons

As the Android application portion of our capstone project (asinh) grows to completion, I designed the icons that will be used for the app.

For anyone that doesn't know, Android requires you to provide multiple icons of different sizes for different uses, ranging in size from 19 x 19px, up to 72 x 72px.

Here are the icons, in the different sizes we required, as well as a larger one to show more detail.

And for anyone interested you can download the .svg version of the icon here.

Armored Sphere Redux

So, I started thinking about redoing the Armored Spheres background in a different color, and decided to do it in blue, with a small change to the lighting.

Here is the redux wallpaper (1400x900px):

Change of Pace

Alright, so I decided to take a break from Inkscape last night and do something nice in my favorite 3D rendering software, Cinema 4D. Loosely following a tutorial from tutorialized.com, I came up with a really nice looking scene, that I turned into a 1400x900px wallpaper.

The original scene was rendered at 2400x1800px. You can download it in .png format here.

Army Logo

For anyone who doesn't know, I'm in the process of joining the U.S. Army Reserves. As such, I decided to use my newly acquired Inkscape skills to fashion up a vector version of the Army logo.

And for those of you interested, you can download the .svg file here.

Logo Design

Hey guys, I've been getting into vector imaging with Inkscape here lately, thanks to my buddy Randy Yang. I've been using Photoshop for years, and it has been really nice to get into a new type of image design, especially with such a robust and easy-to-use tool.

Anyhow, I've been working on creating a logo, and here is my first idea. Let me know what you think!

And for anyone who's interested, here is a link to download the .svg file so you can play around with it yourself.
